Ronald McDonald House of Austin The Ronald McDonald House is the cornerstone of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas. The House provides lodging and support services for families with critically ill or injured children. Because the House is a non-profit organization, it is solely operated with funds raised through special events and donations made by individuals, organizations, and corporations. Thanks to this support the House is able to provide the following amenities for the families: - guest bedrooms and suites - large living areas - spacious kitchen and dining area - two nourishing meals each day - meditation library and quiet area -playroom for the children - laundry facilities and supplies - playground with playscape - screened-in porch - celebration garden Dell Children's Medical Center Ronald McDonald House Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas embarked on a $9.5 million Capital Campaign to build a new House adjacent to the new Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas. The campaign was in response to the current high level of demand for our services and the opening of the Dell Children's Medical Center and the expansion of neonatal services at St. David's Medical Center. The Ronald McDonald House features 30 rooms available for families including suites to accommodate children and their families during lengthy regimens. the house is located at:
